awake_till_dawn had posted in a couple of communities yesterday that she was doing sketches for $1.50. i mentioned that i really hate that i don't have paypal, cuz shoot yeah i'd pay $1.50 for one of her sketches. i've really gotta poke doug about either letting me set one up or him figuring out what his old account was. i have neither a bank account or a credit card.
anyway, p3nsive commented after me, and bought a sketch for me in addition to the ones she was buying! i thought that was the nicest thing. to reach out to some random person you see online and get them something they want. it meant a lot to see someone do that. to see someone do that for anyone, let alone me.
anyway, the sketch is right here if ya wanna check it out. i like it :) i made an icon out of it. as you can see.

that's just the preliminary sketch of the piece she's doing for me, but i had to show it off.
that's the first visual reference i have of doug's character. and he's so damn cute! xD i showed him while he was home this week and he was really impressed <3
i'm going to try to have a few more pictures of us done, so i'm going to put his info here to have this post as a reference link.

he's a miniature horse/pony.
he has white fur but it has a worn, dirty coloration to it (lots of cream and tannish shadows).
very short mousy brown hair and long tail of the same color.
slighty greyish blue eyes.
pierced tongue and these tattoos - back and right calf.
most often wearing a tank top ("wife beater"), either black or white, and loose-fitting jeans or shorts.
accessories include a chain from his belt to his wallet in his back pocket, left side. he usually also has a carabiner with a ton of keys on it clipped to a belt loop on his right side.
